RETURN POLICY
Merchandise with the exception of "Special Order" and "Open Box Special" items may be returned up to 30 Days from order date for refund, exchange or credit. A return authorization number is required and available by emailing "Sportsbay@Yahoo.com" . Refunds or credit will be isssued within 30 days of the merchandise return.
MERCHANDISE RETURNS
Returns for refund ,credit or exchange are allowed within 30 calender days of order date on items in new - unused condition. Items must be in the manufacturers original packaging with all labels and instructions included. Items returned after 30 days are eligible for merchandise credit only. No credit or exchange will be provided 45 days from order date.
Open Box Specials, electrical components for mopeds (coils,condensors,light bulbs,relays) books and service manuals and out of package thermal underwear are not returnable for refund, credit or exchange.
Due to their seasonal nature , ski and snowboard equipment purchased between January 15th and September 1st will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER
Return authorization numbers are required to return a purchase. Customer service will issue a return authorization number that must be written on the outside of the package being returned.Packages arriving without a return authorization number written on the outside will be refused. Return authorization numbers are not a guarantee that a refund,exchange or credit will be issued but provide a method of tracking orders.
Please Email (Sportsbay@Yahoo.com) or call customer service (510-786-1025 M-F 9-5 PST USA) with your Sportsbay purchase order number or invoice number , a description of the items being returned and the reason for the return.
SHIPPING EXPENSE
All delivery and return charges are the customers responsibility. Shipping credits provided by Action Sports / Sportsbay during free/discount freight promotions will be forfeited and deducted from final refund,credit or exchange amounts.
PACKAGE PICKUP
Should you be unable to deliver your package to a delivery
service for return we can have the freight carrier pick up the package from you and return it to Action Sports. There is a $10. pickup charge for this service plus return shipping expenses. All boxes must be taped and the contents
insulated from damage, the freight carrier will not package merchandise. Contact customer service to arrange to have this done.
REFUSED SHIPMENT
If a shipment is refused by the customer or is undeliverable
and returned to the shipper, the customer is responsible for payment of both the original transportation charges, return charges and any additional duties and taxes that may have been incurred.
Action Sports / Sportsbay reserves the right to refuse refunds for returned merchandise that do not meet its return criteria or deduct costs associated for returned merchandise that is damaged or missing parts. Items not qualified for refund or merchandise credit will be returned to the customer with an explanation for the action.
ORDER CANCELLATION
There is no charge for orders canceled prior to shipment.
Customers may cancel orders by emailing Sportsbay@Yahoo.com or calling 510-786-1025 M-F 9-5 PST . Please have your purchase order number or invoice number available. Three attempts will be made to process orders on credit hold before the order is cancelled.
SHIPPING DAMAGE - SHORTAGES
Merchandise should be inspected at the time of delivery and any problems should be brought to the attention of the delivery person and noted in writing on the delivery receipt.
Customers must notify Action Sports within 10 days of delivery of any shortages, damage or other problems.
In the event of lost or missing merchandise the items in question will be eligible for replacement only. No refunds will be provided.
Ownership of merchandise,transfers to the purchaser,at the time a package is picked up by the freight carrier from a Sportsbay/Action Sports location or one of its affiliates.
Any freight damage claims must be filed by the purchaser against the freight carrier.
